Lightweight, non-rotting and permanent the Quick Pitch Shower Floor system is a quick, easy and economical solution to tiling any sized or shaped shower floors. This system has been designed and engineered to create the perfect pitch providing proper drainage to all 2" and 3" drains. It also conforms to the 1/4" fall per ft. requirement
1. Unscrew threaded drain riser and position center ring on top of flange adaptor bolts with    the float stick socket openings pointed upwards. 2. Preposition float sticks and cut to desired length or add extended float sticks as needed. Insert male tab on narrow end of float sticks into the selected female socket of center ring so that top of float stick and center ring are flush.
3. After positioning float sticks, reinstall drain  riser back into drain flange adaptor to hold the center ring and float sticks in place. 4. Mix dry ingredients of mud (one part Portland cement, four parts sand) with shovel or trowel. Add enough water to the admix to bring the material to the consistency of a compact ball.
5. Starting with the area farthest from exit,  spread moistened admix one section at a time. Slightly over-fill the section and spread the mud with trowel or screed stick by dragging it along the surface of the float sticks. Tamp-down or lightly compact the mud with a trowel. 6. After tamping and compacting, use a sponge to sprinkle water (approx. 1/2 gal.) over entire surface.
