This new compact mixing system works for all types
of mortar, fillers, resins/polymers, cements, plasters,
adhesives, granulates, and much more. The Rota Mixer
was developed with the tile and marble trades in mind.
With it's hard plastic drum and side wall scrapers,
the mixer is ideal for dry pack mortar mixing, which
no other mixer can perform without mortar mix sticking
to sides of the walls. In case the drum is ruined
by hardened residue, it is easily and inexpensively
replaceable.
The
Rota Mixer can be wheeled close to work area without
dumping mixed materials and saves time and back strain.
The heavy duty plastic drum allows easy removal of hardened
mortar by popping drum side, plus it cleans up in minutes.
The 17-gallon thick-gauged plastic mix container
is powered by a commercial 110 volt/20 amp electric
2 HP motor. The scraper mounted on the tool
arm lifts and turns material from the container
rim thoroughly mixing inward and upward. Mixing
paddles and blades for specific materials offer
optimum results, and with a slight adjustment,
are adaptable for varying grit. When mixing
is is complete, the tool arm lifts, the mixing
container can be removed manually or with the
lifting trolley, and the paddles are disengaged
and removed to maintain a clean condition.
The Mixer drum spins and makes one
of the paddles turn, while the big
paddle stands still for excellent
mixing results.
The
following lists some differences between the Rota
Mixer and a Drum Mixer:
Drum mixers have to be placed away from work
area.
Drum mixed material must be dumped then wheeled
to work area.
Cleanup of a steel drum is time consuming.
Hardened mortar in a steel drum is much more
difficult to remove.
Drum mixers must be towed to and from job sites.
